Windows XP

Open the Start Menu and select Control Panel

If the Control Panel opens in Category View, click Switch to Classic View

In the Control Panel Classic View, double-click Internet Options

In the Internet Options window under the Connections tab, click the Setup button

The New Connection Wizard will open. Click Next to continue

Select Connect to the Internet and click Next

Select Set up my connection manually and click Next

Select Connect using a dial-up modem and click Next

Type VyaNet in the ISP Name field and click Next

Type the dial-up phone number (Eugene: 246-1245) in the Phone number field and click Next

Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields. All three check boxes can be checked or unchecked as you desire:

Use this account name and password when anyone connects to the Internet from this computer

Make this the default Internet connection

Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection

Click Next

If you want to have a desktop shortcut, check Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop. Click Finish.
