Windows 2000 is geared for
professionals, not for the average home user. There are additional
steps involved in setting up Dial-Up Networking which VyaNet
does not provide support for. If you don't know how to perform
these steps, please contact us to arrange for paid support.
Click on Start -> Settings
-> Control Panel
In the Control Panel, double-click
Network and Dial-up Connections
In the Network and Dial-up
Connections window, double-click Make New Connection
The Network Connection Wizard
will open. Click Next

Select Dial-up to the Internet.
Click Next
Select
I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want
to connect through a local area network (LAN). Click Next
Select
I connect through a phone line and a modem. Click Next
Enter
the dial-up phone number (Eugene: 246-1245). Uncheck Use area
code and dialing rules
Enter
your username and password. Click Next
Enter
VyaNet in the Connection name field. Click Next
Select
Yes
If
you would like to immediately connect, check To connect to
the Internet immediately, select this box and then click Finish.
